Two printed PVC-foils for the front and back and a protective overlay on each side. In the middle there is the pre-laminate \u2013 a layer of foil in which the antenna and chip module of the\u00a0<strong>RFID-Chip<\/strong>\u00a0are embedded. All layers are pressed together with pressure and heat in laminators and thus constitute one compact card body. During the process of lamination, the surface of the outer protective foils is determined by the texture of the lamination plates which press the card body from both sides. If both plates are shiny, so will be the card surface; if they are matte, the card will be matte.\u00a0<strong>Data Carriers<\/strong>\u00a0such as contact chips and barcodes are usually brought onto the card surface later. Magnet stripes can already be integrated into the overlay-foil but can also be rolled onto it later.<\/p><p>Depending on the intended purpose, the card may also consist of more stable\u00a0<strong>materials<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>material combinations<\/strong>\u00a0besides PVC. The make a longer lifespan, higher UV- and temperature resistance and a better break- and beding strength possible.
