Responsible Conduct

For ID cards, value cards, tickets and other ID media, the planning should take the entire lifecycle of the card into consideration. Alongside the handling of damaged or lost cards, this included secure production of replacements and the disposal of cards that are no longer required. Here
environmental aspects should also be taken into account. A special focus should be put on the adherence of the EU-GDPR. ID cards, in particular, will frequently contain personal data and security codes.

EU-regulations

The "Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances" (RoHS) introduces restrictions for dangerous substances in electrical and electronic devices while the WEEE-guidelines (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) focus on the take-back and disposal.
