Profile/main focuses

Plasticard-ZFT's particular strengths lie in producing contact and contactless smart cards in small and medium-sized runs with sophisticated features. This involves different printing processes such as offset printing, screen printing or hot stamping, as well as holograms, signature panels and other security elements. For modern ID cards, up to five different data carriers can be embedded into a single card. Our core competencies include dealing with databases and graphics files. As regards innovation, our company's activities are mainly geared towards applying new, alternative materials to produce the cards themselves and towards developing new production and IT technologies to provide our services.

Staff development

The number of our employees has developed from 6 members of staff in 1991 to 42 to date. Five of these are engineers, two are business administrators, eighteen skilled workers, ten trainees and two students.
