The shape and dimensions of plastic cards are set down as binding international standards in ISO 7810 (ISO: International Standards Organisation).The cards most often used in Germany (debit and credit cards) are almost always made of multi-layered PVC. The printed sheet of plastic is inside the card under a crystal-clear, glossy laminate.Nearly all Plasticard-ZFT cards are produced using this "classic" method. The result of this production process is a high-quality card suited to all usual finishing and personalisation methods.

Plasticard-ZFT provides all the usual standard card-printing processes:

Offset printing (4-colour scale, spot colours based on Pantone or HKS)
Screen printing (metallic gold, silver, platinum inks, special-effect inks, spot colours)
Hot stamping (holograms, glossy laminates, special effects)

Features for plastic cards:

Magnetic stripes (LoCo 300 Oe or HiCo 2750/4000 Oe), including overprinting)
Signature panels (various dimensions, with additional printing)
Holograms (standard images or individual designs)
Data carriers (chip modules, TRW stripes, barcodes and many more)
Security features (UV or IR markings, microprint, guilloché designs, transparencies, etc.)
Personalisation/codes
